✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Our Louvre Slat Wall Panels come in two main categories:

    • Fluted Composite Slat Panels (9.5 ft height): Lightweight, water-resistant panels ideal for modern, low-maintenance finishes.

    • Acoustic Slat Panels (9.25 ft height): Premium real-wood panels with built-in sound-reducing features — perfect for spaces where both aesthetics and acoustics matter.

  • We offer a wide variety of finishes and colours: for example, in the composite slat range you’ll find options like Walnut, Light Grey, Pure Black, Grey Oak, and more.
In the acoustic real-wood range there are options like Teak, Black Walnut, White Oak, Cedar, etc.

  • Yes — the composite fluted slat panels are described as lightweight and water-resistant, making them well-suited for modern, low-maintenance installations.
For real-wood acoustic slats, extra care should be taken in high-humidity zones (e.g., ensure proper ventilation) since wood can respond differently in moisture.

  • Many homeowners can install the panels themselves if they are comfortable with basic carpentry (measuring, cutting to fit, securing panels). However, if you’re wanting seamless professional finish, hiring a trained installer is recommended.
Tip: Use both adhesives and appropriate fasteners.

    • For composite panels: Wipe clean with a soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals; maintain ventilation if in high-moisture rooms.

    • For real-wood acoustic panels: Dust or vacuum regularly; avoid direct water spray or soaking.
Proper maintenance will help preserve finish and acoustic performance over time.

    • Composite fluted panels: These are manufactured panels designed for durability, water resistance, modern finishes, and ease of maintenance.

    • Acoustic real-wood panels: These use genuine wood slats and incorporate acoustic design (sound-absorbing/alleviating) — ideal for areas where sound control matters (e.g., offices, media rooms).
