Starock was established in Medicine Hat, Alberta in 2018 by founder Rakesh Seetohul, who brings more than 25 years in the import and export industry. Today our Calgary wall panel showroom supplies our own range of wall panels, trim, sealants, tiles and vinyl flooring, and ships eligible products across Canada. Starock is a product supplier and showroom; installation is done by you or your own contractor.
Which wall panels does Starock sell?
Starock sells four main types of wall panel, each with its own collection and product specifications:
- Acoustic slat panels - wood slat panels on an acoustic felt backing in finishes such as walnut, smoked walnut, teak, oak and black, plus diagonal and diamond slat patterns. They may suit living rooms, bedrooms, home offices and meeting rooms where echo is a problem.
- Fluted slats - including the Waterproof Fluted Wall Panel Kits in 6.5 inch and 7.5 inch widths, which our showroom presents for bathrooms, showers and feature walls.
- Hexagon wall panels and geometric acoustic wood panels - each hexagon panel measures 34 in x 26 in and is sold in packs of 4 (23 sq ft).
- XXL marble panels - large-format marble-look, textured marble and satin panels (for example 4 x 9 ft) for showers, bathrooms and statement walls.
We also carry wood slat room partition dividers, trims, construction sealants and installation accessories, so you can buy what the whole job needs in one place.
Who are Starock wall panels for?

Do you ship wall panels across Canada?
Yes, eligible products ship Canada-wide, and product pages say whether a size can ship. Our straight Acoustic Slat Panels, hexagon panels and the 6.5 inch and 7.5 inch fluted kits (107 in height) are in our Canada Wide Shipping collection. Oversized items such as XXL marble panels and the 114 in fluted height are in store only: local pickup in Calgary or local delivery within a 350 km radius of Calgary. Wall panel FAQs
Which wall panel is right for my room?
It depends on what the wall needs to do. For a warm wood feature wall or to reduce echo in a living room, bedroom or home office, acoustic slat or hexagon panels may be suitable. For bathrooms and showers, look at the Waterproof Fluted Wall Panel Kits and the XXL marble panels. Always check the product specifications for your room before you order.
What is the difference between acoustic and decorative wall panels?
Acoustic panels have a sound-absorbing backing that can help reduce echo and reverberation inside a room; decorative panels such as fluted slats and XXL marble panels are chosen mainly for looks and surface. Acoustic panels are not soundproofing: they do not stop sound passing between rooms. Acoustic performance depends on the product and how it is mounted, so check each product page.
How are wall panels installed?
Starock supplies the panels, trims, sealants and accessories, and installation is done by you or your contractor. Our hexagon panels, for example, can be screwed or glued to the wall, or screwed onto battens with mineral wool behind to improve sound absorption. Large-format panels may need more planning, so check the product page or ask our team.
How do I get wall panels delivered?
Eligible products ship anywhere in Canada with costs shown at checkout, and you receive tracking by email once your order ships. Oversized panels are available for local pickup at our Calgary showroom or local delivery within a 350 km radius of Calgary.
